i'm just some random chic who loves unicorns, little ponies, monkeys & a good bloody horror film. peter pan & bette davis are my heros. rock n' roll is church.

i do the StumbleUpon thing to cure my boredom while talking on the phone, or listening to someone in my office, or when i have shut every other window in my browser and there is nothing left to look at... absolutely fabulous stumbles are hard to find these days, hence the weeks that go by without a word...

**What you should be listening to right now!**

1.Kap Bambino

Zero Life Night Vision
A totally insane electronic duo from France. Singer, Caroline Martial, is crazy wild and worth the watch even if you can't stand the music. Seriously out of control. It's like Ziggy Stardust meets Karen O's love child with Wendy O.

Apparently Ms. Martial is a up & coming model as well. Not exactly riot grrl character, but got to give her props for supporting herself to keep her music career independent.

2. Lots of Mark Lanegan
He's just getting better with age...

Exhibit A: Sunday at Devil Dirt
Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan

It's even better than Ballad....check it out when it's out & soothe your weary soul...

Exhibit B: Saturnalia
The Gutter Twins

All my Dreams stroll by unclothed
All my Dreams roll by unknown
It's alright to cave into a Love
Although it's not enough
Not enough to save you from yourself
Or what you love too much

3. The Raconteurs
Consolers of the Lonely
If you are any sort of Jack White fan, get a hold of this record. By now you have seen the video and this is not the best representation of the album as a whole. Listen to it all. Play it loud & without prejudice. My favorite tracks are "You Don’t Understand Me”, “Hold Up”, “Pull This Blanket Off” and of course, “Salute Your Solution”.

A fun website, brilliant marketing and confirmed tour dates all add to the fun of falling in love with this "side project", while the White Stripes are dormant.
